IDpack 9, the ID card software now offers High Definition (HD) Video Capture for all editions
IDpack has just released a new build for all IDpack editions, called "IDpack 9 HD" which now includes High Definition video capture. IDpack 9 HD can capture pictures using the highest resolution available from your webcam.This new feature will allow a better quality picture to ultimately produce a high-resolution ID card picture for more security because we know the ability to identify an individual is of utmost importance for access control.
"The difference with the HD version is amazing! When printing an ID card, the picture is crisp and sharp" commented Martin Bourdages, team leader of IDpack. IDpack recommends a webcam like the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, which allows photo capture with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. This means the picture will be six times bigger than the current resolution in previous versions of IDpack. IDpack 9 HD is the best solution to create secure and professional ID cards.
